MAGAZINE MADNESS MONDAY- BACKGROUND PAPER

Welcome to our first Monday Magazine Madness! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I did! I got to see my husband and I went to my first workshop, it was great! So for todays magazine madness, I was inspired to make a cool background paper. I used distress inks and a coffee stain stamp which I had already, so it cost me nothing whereas the single sheet of paper goes for over .85 a sheet. Great deal and gorgeous paper!

Be creative! I can't wait to see what you come up with, so go grab all those magazines you have lying around and be inspired!

Today I will be showing what some type of homemade page elements are. These are pre-made already, I wont be demonstrating anything, just showing different items. This series is dedicated to beginner scrapbookers or even for seasoned ones who want a refresher course. We will be learning how to make all different items and about the world of scrapbooking, so come a long for the ride.

TIP THURSDAY- HOW TO CLEAN AN ACRYLIC STAMP BLOCK

WELCOME! I AM SO GLAD TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS BLOG! IT HAS BEEN AN IDEA OF MINE FOR A VERY LONG TIME AND I FINALLY GOT SETTLED WITH THINGS AND AM ABLE TO MAKE IT A REALITY. I HAVE SO MUCH MORE PLANNED FOR THE FUTURE, BUT FOR NOW I WILL START SLOW AND SEE HOW IT ALL GOES. JUST TO EXPLAIN A LITTLE ABOUT HOW IT'S GOING TO WORK... I WILL POST EVERY OTHER DAY AND ON THE SAME DAY TWICE A MONTH. SO 2 MONDAYS A MONTH, 2 TUESDAYS, AND SO ON, BUT IF I POST ON MON., I WONT POST AGAIN UNTIL WED... MAYBE IN THE FUTURE I WILL POST DAILY, BUT AGAIN, LET'S SEE HOW THIS GOES. SO FOR MY FIRST POST AND TIP THURSDAY..... LET THE VIDEO BEGIN!

THIS WEEKS TIP: USE ANY BRAND HAND SANITIZER TO CLEAN STAINED ACRYLIC BLOCKS. TAKE A SOFT CLOTH OR PAPER TOWEL, SQUIRT SOME SANITIZER ON IT, AND WIPE THE INK OFF THE BLOCKS. YOU CAN WASH IN SOAP AND WATER AFTER IF YOU WANT, BUT THIS IS NOT NECESSARY. THIS REMOVES INK THAT HAS BEEN THERE FOR DAYS, MONTHS, ETC... EVEN STAYZ ON INKS!

BE CREATIVE!
